The government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Estonia which hereinafter are referred to as further as "Parties",

- wishing to promote development of interconnection in the field of culture, educations, science and sport,

- including development of bonds in the field of culture, educations, science and sport between the states, local government bodies, the relevant organizations and organizations, and also between citizens important condition of enrichment of culture of both countries and the people,

agreed about the following:

Article 1

The parties will encourage and will support direct contacts and cooperation between universities, other educational institutions and research establishments of both countries, will promote exchange of scientists, teachers, specialists and students.

Article 2

The parties will encourage exchange of information, documents and publications which concern education, science and culture.

Article 3

The parties will encourage the invitation of the relevant organizations, organizations, collectives, and also scientists and cultural figures of the second country to the international congresses, colloquiums, symposiums, seminars and other similar events which are held in their countries.

Article 4

The parties will promote studying and teaching language, literature and cultural history of the second country, the organization for this purpose of schools, classes, and also summer rates.

Article 5

The parties will encourage exchange of information about education system and training materials on culture, history and geography for the purpose of provision each other of adequate information on the countries and development of education and cultural life.
