1. Part one of article 54 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status and social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to the Chernobyl catastrophic crash" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 13, Art. 178; 2015, 6, the Art. 40) to add No. with the offer of the following content: "To wives (husbands) who lost the supporter from among the participants of recovery from the accident on the Chernobyl NPP referred to category 1, pension in connection with loss of the supporter it is granted irrespective of causal relationship of death with the Chernobyl catastrophic crash".
2. This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2018.
