The government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic Georgia that "Parties" hereinafter are referred to as further,

aiming to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of communication, to provide smooth functioning of networks and means of electric and mail service in both states, and also to enhance legal regulation in this area,

agreed about it:

Article 1

The parties, being effective in volume of the powers and opportunities, according to requirements of the laws of Ukraine and the Republic Georgia, on mutually advantageous and equal conditions will continue and expand cooperation in the field of electric and mail service, radio, television, satellite communication.

Article 2

The parties will build the relations in the field of communication according to the commonly accepted regulations and the principles of international law, provisions of Acts of Universal Postal Union and recommendations of International union of telecommunication.

Questions which are not settled by this agreement, and also international agreements which participants are both parties will be solved by mutual consent according to the legislation of each of the Parties.

Article 3

The parties noted that they recognize existence of single networks of the countries of the Parties which develop according to the Master plan of development and if there is requirement, inform each other on further development of their networks.

Article 4

The parties, for the provided services of electric and mail service, perform settlement through the national centers of settlement.

For communication services, the Parties previously will report about all changes in the organization of electric and mail service, and also procedure for settlement each other in 3 months prior to the provided starting date of these changes.
