In article 221 of the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic about administrative offenses (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2016, No. 2 (book I), Article 202, No. 3, Articles 397, 403, 429, No. 4, Articles 631, 647, 654, No. 5, Articles 835, 846, No. 6, Articles 997, 1010, No. 7, Articles 1247, 1249, No. 10, Article 1608; No. 11, Articles 1769, 1774, 1781, 1783, 1786, 1788, No. 12 Articles 1984, 2000, 2009, 2024, 2049; 2017, No. 1, Article 21, No. 2, Articles 139, 147, 152, 162; The Laws of the Azerbaijan Republic of February 1, 2017 No. 509-VQD and 14 of February, 2017 No. 529-VQD) to make the following changes:
1. To state the name of Article in the following edition:
"Violation of the law about medicines".
2. Add with Articles 221.8 and 221.9 of the following content:
"221.8. Production, import or sale of biologically active nutritional supplements, on packaging and in instructions for application (inserts) of which are not specified the words "is not medicine", -
attracts imposing of penalty on officials in the amount of five hundred to eight hundred manats, on legal entities in the amount of one thousand five hundred to two thousand manats. 221.9. Entering of biologically active nutritional supplements into the recipe of the doctor -
attracts imposing of penalty on officials in the amount of fifty to hundred manats, on legal entities in the amount of hundred fifty to two hundred manats.".
