About modification of article 201 of the Criminal code of Ukraine concerning criminalization of smuggling of parts of firearms
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Part one of article 201 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (2001, 131) to state sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Art. No. 25-26, in the following edition:
"1. Smuggling, that is movement through customs border of Ukraine out of customs control or with concealment from customs control of cultural values, poisonous, strong, explosives, radioactive materials, weapon or ammunition (except smooth-bore hunting weapon or ammunition to it), parts of fire cut weapon, and also special technical means of secret receipt of information,
it is punished by imprisonment for a period of three up to seven years".
II. Final provisions
1. This Law becomes effective in thirty days from the date of its publication.
2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within a month from the date of entry into force of this Law:
provide adoption of the regulatory legal acts necessary for implementation of this Law;
bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;
provide review and reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
