About modification of the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses concerning prohibition of production and promotion of St.George's (Guards) Ribbon

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. The code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (1984, Appendix to No. 51, by the station 1122) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of USSR with Article 173-3 of the following content:

"Article 173-3. PRODUCTION AND PROMOTION of the ST.GEORGE'S (GUARDS) RIBBON

Public use, demonstration or carrying St.George's (Guards) Ribbon or its image

involve imposing of penalty from fifty to hundred fifty free minima income of citizens with confiscation of St.George's (Guards) Ribbon or the objects containing its images.

The actions provided by part one of this Article committed repeatedly within year after imposing of administrative punishment, production or distribution of St.George's (Guards) Ribbon or its image

attract imposing of penalty from hundred fifty to three hundred free minima income of citizens or administrative detention for a period of up to fifteen days with confiscation of St.George's (Guards) Ribbon or the objects containing its images.

Note. Provisions of this Article are not applied in the cases provided by part three of article 4 of the Law of Ukraine "About condemnation communistic and national socialist (Nazi) the totalitarian modes in Ukraine and will lock promotion of their symbolics".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
