About entering of amendments and changes into the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the civil code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 1998 (further – the Code) with Articles 416.1 and 416.2 of the following content:

"Article 416.1. The limited liability providing services of electronic communications

1. Providing services of electronic communications does not bear responsibility for the content of the electronic document transmitted by means of the information system by the third parties and also for obligations of the third parties by its transfer if other is not provided by the Law or the agreement signed with providing services.

2. Providing services of electronic communications bears responsibility if it without powers or with abuse of authority:

1) on behalf of other person was transferred by the electronic document,

2) on behalf of other person chose the receiver of the electronic document,

Article 416.2. The basis of responsibility operating trade electronic platform

1. The operating Internet of the website or the digital application (operating trade electronic platform) serving as platform for the conclusion or execution of agreements of the third parties does not bear responsibility for the obligations arising from the agreements signed between the third parties if other is not provided by the law, the agreement signed between operating trade electronic platform and third party.
