About modification of some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of creation of necessary conditions for effective functioning of the domestic Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan exchange market decides:

1. Make changes in the Regulations on procedure for carrying out transactions on purchase and sale of foreign currency in the curb foreign exchange market, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of July 10, 2001 No. 294 (the joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2001, No. 7, the Art. 38) according to appendix.

2. Declare invalid the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 11, 2003 No. 260 "About measures for further liberalization of the foreign exchange market and unification of the exchange rates" (the joint venture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2003, No. 6, the Art. 43).

3. To Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts adopted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan D.A.Kuchkarov.

The changes made to Regulations on procedure for carrying out transactions on purchase and sale of foreign currency in the curb foreign exchange market

1. Declare Item 19 invalid.

2. State Item 43 in the following edition:

"43. Transactions in the curb foreign exchange market are performed by authorized banks at the market rate based on direct agreements".
