About modification of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About giving of special status to the separate border territories of the Kyrgyz Republic and their development"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About giving of special status to the separate border territories of the Kyrgyz Republic and their development" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2011, No. 7, the Art. 1048) the following change:

"The list of the separate border territories of the Kyrgyz Republic having special status includes the settlements located in the border territory:

- with low social and economic development, instability of situation owing to decline in living standards and outflow of the population;

- with difficult climatic conditions, weak familiarity and inaccessibility of the main part of the territory;

- with risks of emergence of threats of homeland security of the Kyrgyz Republic which effects can cause significant damage to the main national interests and exert direct impact on the constitutional system, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The list of the separate border territories of the Kyrgyz Republic having special status affirms the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the same time the list of the separate border territories of the Kyrgyz Republic having special status joins the settlements corresponding to all criteria specified regarding 1 this Article.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective after seven days from the date of official publication.
