About introduction of amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 5, 2007 No. 1382

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 5, 2007 No. 1382 "About approval of the Technical regulation of the closed sources of ionizing radiation" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2007, No. 93, the Art. 3408) changes which are applied.

2. This resolution becomes effective in six months from the date of publication.

Changes which are made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 5, 2007 No. 1382

1. In Item 1 of the resolution of the word "about introduction" shall be replaced with words "on application".

2. In the Technical regulation of the closed sources of ionizing radiation approved by the specified resolution:

1) in Item 2:

paragraph two after words "unexpected conditions" to add with the words "is also component of such source";

add Item after the paragraph of third with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Service life of the closed source - the term of possible use of the specific closed source established by the producer from the moment of its production in case of which end use of such source shall be stopped. In case of confirmation of the fact of preserving radiation characteristics, hermeticity and lack of defects, their signs on the closed source its service life can be prolonged in the procedure established by the legislation.".
