About the mode of conventional arms and ammunition, special means and military devices belonging to National army and foreign military forces which are legally in the territory of the Republic of Moldova
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. 1. - This law regulates ownership, carrying, use and use of conventional arms and the ammunition, special means and military devices entering into the equipment of National army, transactions performed with their help, use of physical force, and also legal regime of transportation, ownership, carrying, use and use of conventional arms and ammunition, special means and military devices serving the foreign military forces which are legally in the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Art. 2. - (1) it is authorized to National army to own conventional arms and ammunition, special means and military devices for its equipment according to organizational and regular structure, the main programs of supply and obligations assigned to it according to the law.
(2) the Conventional arms and ammunition, special means and military devices provided by part (1), are intended for training, accomplishment of fighting tasks, and also other specific tasks according to the current legislation, and have the specific tactical technical characteristics allowing to carry out objectives according to rules of international law and the current legislation.
(3) the List of conventional arms and ammunition, special means and military devices affirms the Ministry of Defence, and rules of their application affirm the President of the Republic of Moldova.
Art. 3. - Subjects of this law are:
a) the citizens of the Republic of Moldova passing military service in National army;
b) serving the foreign military forces which are legally in the territory of the Republic of Moldova, falling under operation of the Law on the status of foreign military force in the Republic of Moldova No. 448/2003.
