About introduction of amendments to the Tax Code No. 1163/1997
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
In the Tax code No. 1163/1997 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, special release of February 8, 2007), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes:
1. State Article 348 in the following edition:
"Article 348. Privileges
(1) Provisions of this Chapter do not extend to the cars registered in the states with which the Republic of Moldova signed bilateral or multilateral agreements about traffic circulation on roads without payment of the road charges.
(2) Any release provided according to this Article is caused by provision of the mutual rights by the relevant states.
(3) If in the states with which the Republic of Moldova signed bilateral or multilateral agreements about traffic circulation on roads without payment of the road charges contrary to the signed agreements the road charges are levied, then for use of highways of the Republic of Moldova of the cars registered in the relevant states charges according to the commonly accepted regulations will be levied.
(4) to the Ministry of Transports and Road Infrastructure it is imputed obligation quarterly to report to Customs Service about the states in which the road charges contrary to the signed agreements are levied.".
2. To state appendix 2 to the Section IX in the following edition:
"Appendix 2
Collection for use of highways of the Republic of Moldova of the cars which are not registered in the Republic of Moldova
