About modification of some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985/2002 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, Art. No. 72-74, 195), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes:
1. In part (2) Article 248 of the word "narcotic, psychotropic," shall be replaced with words "drugs, ethnobotanical means,".
2. In part (Article 264-1 of the word "the narcotic, psychotropic and/or other substances causing intoxication" shall be replaced with words 1) "the drugs and/or other substances causing intoxication".
Art. II. – In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 78-84, 100), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes:
1. In part (Article 114 of the word of "the poisoning, narcotic or reactive substances" shall be replaced with words 5) "the drugs poisoning or reactive substances".
2. In Article 220-5 of the word "narcotic or psychotropic substances," to replace with the word of "drugs".
3. In Article 233:
in part (words "the narcotic, psychotropic and/or other substances causing intoxication" shall be replaced with words 2) "the drugs and/or other substances causing intoxication";
in part (shall be replaced with words 2-1) words of "the narcotic, psychotropic and/or other substances making similar impact" "drugs and/or other substances making similar impact".
