About establishment for 2018 of amounts of the tariff quota concerning separate types of the long-grain rice coming from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and imported in the territory of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union

According to article 45 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, Chapter 2 of the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the other hand, of May 29, 2015 (further – the Agreement) and appendix №1 to the Agreement the Board of the Euroasian economic commission decided:

1. Establish for 2018 amounts of the tariff quota concerning separate types of the long-grain rice coming from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and imported in the territory of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union according to the Agreement (further respectively – long-grain rice, the tariff quota), according to appendix.

2. Determine that the tariff quota is applied to the long-grain rice placed under customs procedure of release for internal consumption.

3. To state members of the Eurasian Economic Union:

perform distribution of amounts of the tariff quota, the stipulated in Item 1 this Decision, between participants of foreign trade activity according to the legislation;

charge to authorized bodies of the executive authority to perform issue of import licenses of long-grain rice.

4. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
