According to Article 158 of the Customs code of Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:
1. Establish deadlines of passable customs transit of goods through customs area of Ukraine according to appendix.
2. Authorize the State Customs Service to provide explanations concerning application of this resolution.
3. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2004.

In case of implementation of transportations by means:
road transport - up to 10 days
rail transport - up to 28 days
the air transportation - up to 5 days
sea and river transport - up to 20 days
pipeline transport - up to 31 days
pipeline transport with overload
on other modes of transport - up to 90 days
