According to subitem 5.1.7 of article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "About the value added tax" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Determine that the list of medicines selling which transactions are exempted from taxation on value added is the State register of medicines.

(In addition to Item 1 to include medicines which are produced by pharmaceutical institutions according to recipes of doctors and orders of treatment-and-prophylactic institutions from allowed for use acting and excipients, in the list of medicines selling which transactions are exempted from taxation on value added according to the Resolution KM N1006 of 10:08. 2004)

2. Approve the list of products of medical appointment selling which transactions are exempted from taxation on value added it (is applied).
