About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About physical culture and sport"

Being guided by Item 1 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, for the purpose of approval of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About physical culture and sport" with the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About fight against use of doping means and methods in sport" of November 29, 2016 the Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic decides Millie's No. 447-VQ:

In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About physical culture and sport" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2009, No. 8, Article 613; 2010, No. 6, Article 489; 2011, No. 2, Article 71; 2013, No. 11, Article 1281, No. 4, Article 340; 2015, No. 5, Article 507; 2016, No. 3, Article 420; No. 12, Article 2021; 2017, No. 1, Article 11) to make the following changes:

1. In article 2 after words "this Law," to add with words of "the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "On fight against use of doping means and methods in sport"".

2. Under Article 11:

2.1. in Article 11.2.6 the word of "methods" to replace with the word of "methods";

2.2. at the end of Article 11.2.8 to replace point with semicolon and to add with Articles 11.2.9 and 11.2-1 of the following content:

"11.2.9. in case of application concerning the athlete or his support personnel to the sanction according to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About fight against use of doping means and methods in sport" and rules of national anti-doping structure to provide execution of these sanctions.

11.2-1. Failure to carry out by sports federations of the republic of obligations, stipulated in Article 11.2.9 these Laws, is considered violation and attracts the termination of the financial support allocated from the government budget before accomplishment of these requirements.".
