About measures for ensuring safe tourism in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Shakhrisabz
For the purpose of effective safety of tourist activities and creation of necessary conditions for rendering tourist services in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Shakhrisabz according to the undertaken reforms in the field of tourism development in the Republic of Uzbekistan the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Approve the Concept of ensuring safe tourism developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on tourism development and khokimiyats of the Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Shakhrisabz according to appendix No. 1.
2. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on tourism development:
in week time to create expert groups on development and ensuring high-quality execution of "road maps" on step-by-step realization of the main directions of the Concept of ensuring safe tourism in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Shakhrisabz (further - the Concept);
till January 1, 2018 to approve "road maps" on step-by-step realization of the main directions of the Concept;
raise financial resources and means of technical assistance of the international financial institutions and foreign government organizations, and also other sources which are not prohibited by the legislation for realization of the main directions of the Concept;
organize holding meetings, seminars, "round tables" and press conferences with broad involvement of representatives of institutes of civil society, mass media, scientific community and foreign experts.
3. Approve the Program of organizational measures for implementation of the Concept of ensuring safe tourism in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and Shakhrisabz for 2017 - 2020 (further - the Program) according to appendix No. 3.
