About features of state regulation of activities of subjects of the business activity connected with realization and export of forest products

This Law determines particular legal regime of export and realization leso-and timber.

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the terms below are used in such value:

forest products - wood materials which are extracted by separation into parts of the dumped trees and wood packs (lengthways or across) for further use or conversion;

forest products raw - forest products according to code 4403 of group 44 of the Section IX of the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity;

timber - the sawn wood of certain sizes and quality having at least two plane-parallel layers (the Section IX, group 44, code 4407 Ukrainian classifications of goods of foreign economic activity);

valuable and rare breeds of trees - acacia, birch, cherry, pear, nut, chestnut, yew berry, sweet cherry, yavor, juniper.

Article 2. Export prohibition leso-and timber of valuable and rare breeds of trees

Export out of limits of customs area of Ukraine of forest products and timber of valuable and rare breeds of trees is forbidden.

Article 2-1. Temporary ban of export of forest products in a raw state

Temporarily, for a period of 10 years, export out of limits of customs area of Ukraine in customs regime of export of forest products raw is forbidden (code 4403 UKTVED):

tree species, except pine, - since November 1, 2015;

tree species of pine - since January 1, 2017

Article 3. Confirmation of origin leso-and timber

Realization out of limits of customs area of Ukraine in customs regime of export by subjects of business activity of forest products and the timber made of them, except provided by articles 2 and 2-1 of this Law, is allowed in the presence of the certificate of origin of forest products and timber made of them.
