About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the state protection of public authorities of Ukraine and officials"
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About the state protection of public authorities of Ukraine and officials" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 35, the Art. 236) the following changes:
1. Add Article 9 with part two of the following content:
"To buildings where work the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and also building where other public authorities of Ukraine concerning which the state protection according to this Law is performed work, persons with cold or firearms (except persons who according to this Law perform the state protection of the respective building), and also persons with explosives, means of blasting, ammunition of all types and samples, educational or imitating ammunition, flammable liquids or solid flammable substances, pyrotechnic means are not allowed".
2. In Item 1 of Article 18 of the word "state protection" shall be replaced with words "the state protection, not to allow to buildings where work the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and also building where other public authorities of Ukraine concerning which the state protection in connection therewith by the Law, persons with cold or firearms, explosives, means of blasting, ammunition of all types and samples, educational or imitating ammunition, flammable liquids or solid flammable substances, pyrotechnic means is performed work".
II. Final provisions
1. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.
2. Recommend to the President of Ukraine, to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, the Chairman of the Supreme Court to issue acts concerning ensuring legal regime of protection of buildings where relevant organs of the government work.
