About introduction of amendments to the laws of Ukraine "About support of the Olympic, Paralympic Movement and elite sport in Ukraine" and "About physical culture and sport"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. The paragraph of the sixth article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About support of the Olympic, Paralympic Movement and elite sport in Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 43, Art. 370; 2005, No. 5, Art. 122; 2014, 41) to state Art. No. 2-3, in the following edition:

"Paralympic movement in Ukraine - social movement which is based on voluntary combining of citizens in particular of persons with disability, and the organizations for the purpose of assistance of social resettlement of persons with disability and improvements of their physical condition, is coordinated by National committee of sport of disabled people of Ukraine".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 7, Art. 50; 2014, Art. No. 2-3, 41):

Article 24 part four in paragraph four the word "disabled athletes" shall be replaced with words 1) "athletes with disability";

Part the second Article 37 to state 2) in the following edition:

"The central executive body realizing state policy in the field of physical culture and sport taking into account offers of sports federations of persons with disability with the national status and National committee of sport of disabled people of Ukraine completes on competitive basis from among the most trained athletes of for children and young people, reserve sport and elite sport, and also specialists in the field of physical culture and sport, in particular coaches, the national teams of team on the sports of persons recognized in Ukraine with disability for preparation them to participation in the international sports competitions";
