1. Regulations on procedure for export licensing of walnut, derivative products and wood (further - the Provision) are developed for the purpose of accomplishment of the requirement of the law on N658-XIV walnut of October 29, 1999.
2. The provision establishes licensing procedure for export of nut, derivative products and wood and extends the action to economic agents, irrespective of the type of property and the organizational legal form performing activities for export of these products.
3. For export of nuts and derivative products general licenses on competitive basis within the public bidding are granted. Licenses are granted by the Commission on issue of export licenses of nut and derivative products (further - the Commission) which personalized structure affirms the order of the Minister of Economic Affairs and reforms.
4. The general license is granted for a period of one year prior to the beginning of the nutting period (September).
5. At the first public bidding general licenses for export of nut and derivative products, equivalent to the average physical amounts registered for the last 3 years in export of these products from the Republic of Moldova are exposed (according to Department of statistical and social researches of the Republic of Moldova). The subsequent biddings appear depending on dynamics of export volumes, registered in the corresponding period.
6. The minimum quantity of nuts and derivative products, necessary for issue of the general license, constitutes 5000 kg. Export of nut and derivative products in the number of less than 5000 kg, and also wood is regulated routinely by the Ministry of Economics and reforms by issue of one-time licenses in case of submission of the documents confirming the property right to the goods which are subject to export (the certificate issued by local public body (primeriya), confirming possession of nut plantations, or acts on purchase of nut, the copy of the export agreement, etc.).
