The Parliament adopts this organic law.
(1) This law regulates the activities connected with cultivation of separate types of nuciferous cultures (walnut, black nut, almonds, hazelnut (filbert), edible chestnut, black fox) including production, collection, use of fruits and derivative products, wood and landing material.
(2) For the purpose of this law the concept "walnut" includes the following nuciferous cultures: walnut, black nut, almonds, hazelnut (filbert), edible chestnut, black fox.
Regarding regulation of this law also operation of the Law on fruit growing, the Law on entrepreneurship and the companies, the Law on seeds and others legislative and regulations in the field of crop production products extends.
Preserving, development and growth of potential production of walnut are regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture and the food industry, the Agency of forestry "Moldsilva" and bodies of local public authority.
