1. Determine that since April 1, 1998 export of cash foreign currency out of limits of the republic is allowed:

to residents - within the amount equivalent to 2 000 US dollars;

to nonresidents - within the currency delivered to the republic, according to the customs declaration.

Export of cash foreign currency over the specified amounts is allowed with the permission of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan or authorized banks having the general license for carrying out transactions with foreign currency.

2. Resolve since April 1, 1998 free import to the republic by physical persons - residents and nonresidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan of cash foreign currency with obligatory filling in accordance with the established procedure of customs declarations.

3. Permit the authorized banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan having the general license for carrying out transactions with foreign currency, issue to physical persons the documents confirming their right to export of foreign currency from the republic in case of removal of cash foreign currency from accounts and deposits and also on traveling expenses.
