About the international automobile communication
The government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic which are referred to as and further "Parties",
in view of favorable development of bilateral trade and economic relations,
wish to develop on the basis of equality and mutual advantage automobile passenger and freight traffic between both countries, and also transit transportations,
agreed as follows:
1. According to this agreement are performed regular and irregular, transportations of passengers, including tourists, and loads between both states through open border check-points the automobile means registered to both the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. Motor transportations are performed at check points through the Tajik-Kyrgyz border according to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic the Government about check points through the Tajik-Kyrgyz border of May 26, 2004.
For the purpose of interpretation of provisions of this agreement the following terms mean:
1. The term "carrier" - the physical person or legal entity registered in the territory of the state of one of the Parties which has the right to perform international carriages of loads and passengers for a fee of pla at own expense according to the national legal system of the Parties.
2. Term "vehicles":
- in transit the passenger - the bus, that is the vehicle intended for transportation of passengers and having more than 8 places for sitting, not including driver's seat;
