About enforcement of the Law No. 302/2017 on Customs Service

Based on Article 18, parts (4) Article 54 and article 55 of the Law No. 302/2017 on Customs Service (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 68-76, 143) DECIDES: the Government

1. Approve the List of positions of Customs Service and the special ranks corresponding to these positions according to appendix No. 1.

2. Class ranks of persons working now in Customs Service including persons with whom the office relations are suspended if earlier they had the special ranks given according to provisions of the Law on service in customs authorities No. 1150/2000, are equated to the last special rank given by Customs Service. If the following class rank according to the Law No. 158/2008 on the state position and the status of the government employee was appropriated to them, their class ranks are equated to the special ranks provided by subitems 1) - 6) Item 3, but not below the last rank given by Customs Service and are not higher than the rank corresponding to post.

3. To persons working as a part of Customs Service including persons with whom the office relations which before entry into force of the Law No. 302/2017 on Customs Service held the state position are suspended had the class rank and continue to work continuously at the state positions as a part of Customs Service, class ranks are equated to special ranks, but not above the rank corresponding to post, as follows:

1) the counselor of state of the I class - the colonel of Customs Service;

2) the counselor of state of the II class - the lieutenant colonel of Customs Service;

3) the counselor of state of III class - the major of Customs Service;

4) the adviser of the I class - the captain of Customs Service;
