About introduction of amendments to the Law on the market of oil products No. 461/2001

Art. I. - Part (4) article 4 of the Law on the market of oil products No. 461/2001 (repeated publication: 2017, 82), with subsequent changes and amendments to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 40-49, in the following edition:
"(4) In case of price fixation of retail sale of the imported main oil products in relation to the average quotation of Platts the category and quality of main types of oil products by application of the coefficients of frequency rate for each type of product provided by Methodology of calculation and use of prices of oil products are considered. Each three months, depending on average quotations of Platts in preceding period, National regulation agency in power establishes marginal prices of retail sale of main types of oil products and publishes them on the official web page. The national regulation agency in power has the right to regulate marginal prices during the three-months period in case of difference more than for 10 percent of average quotations of Platts involving marginal decrease in prices, and in case of difference more than for 10 percent of average quotations of Platts involving marginal increase in prices the National regulation agency in power has the right to regulate marginal prices at the request of sellers at retail of oil products. Retail sale of main types of oil products at the price exceeding the marginal price established by National regulation agency in power is forbidden.".
Art. II. - To national regulation agency in power in three-months time from the date of publication of this law in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to bring Methodology of calculation and use of prices of oil products into compliance with this law.
