About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About the child's rights"

Article 1. In article 24 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About the child's rights" (of May 29, 1996, ZR-59, further - the Law);

Heading to state 1) in the following edition:

"Article 24. Protection of the rights of the child, without parental support";

Part 1 to state 2) in the following edition:

"The child, without parental support, has right of defense, leaving, education and the help of the state and its relevant organs. The state and its relevant organs provide leaving and education of such child by adoption, establishments of guardianship and custody and placement in careful family, and in case of impossibility of they are placements in the relevant orphanages.".

Article 2. In article 25 of the Law:

To exclude 1) from heading of the word "and in organizations nursing homes";

2) part 1 to recognize invalid;

To replace 3) regarding 2 words "in the children's tutorial organizations" and "In the Children's Tutorial Organizations" respectively with the words "in orphanages", "In Orphanages";

Part 5 to state 4) in the following edition:

"obligations of the guardian of the child, without parental support, being or placed in orphanage or needing the guardian, and also protection of the rights and legitimate interests of this child is performed by the head of orphanage.".

Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.
