About measures for further enhancement of economic mechanisms of ensuring conservation
According to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About conservation", "About protection of atmospheric air", "About waste", and also for the purpose of further enhancement of economic mechanisms of ensuring conservation in the Republic of Uzbekistan the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Approve Regulations on procedure for application of compensation payments for pollution of the surrounding environment and placement of waste in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 1.
a) base rates of compensation payments for pollution of the surrounding environment and placement of waste are accepted in coefficients from the established size of basic settlement size;
b) compensation payments for pollution of the surrounding environment and placement of waste in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are levied by bodies of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for ecology and environmental protection except for of compensation payments for above-standard dumpings of pollutants into utility sewer networks and distributed as follows:
74 percent - in Fund of ecology, environmental protection and address with waste under the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on ecology and environmental protection;
26 percent - in the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
c) compensation payments for environmental pollution and placement of waste in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the part concerning sewer dumpings are levied by the Ministry of housing-and-municipal servicing of the Republic of Uzbekistan and distributed as follows:
74 percent - in Fund of development of housing and communal services of the Ministry of housing-and-municipal servicing of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
