About modification of the Regulations on procedure for calculation of pensions and about procedure for confirmation of insurance years of service for purpose of pensions, approved by the Order of the Government No. 165/2017

Based on parts (4-1) and (4-2) articles 33 of the Law No. 156/1998 on the public pension system (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247) DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Regulations on procedure for calculation of pensions and on procedure for confirmation of insurance years of service for purpose of pensions approved by the Order of the Government No. 165/2017 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 85-91, 235), to make the following changes:

Item 13 to state 1) in the following edition:

"13. Pensioners who perform or performed labor activity after realization/review of pension entitlement on age, can request review of pension not more often than once in two years provided that the size of the pension estimated after review is more than the size of paid pension. This provision will be applied upon completion of process of review of the pensions established till January 1, 2019 according to the schedule provided in Item 13-1. Review of pension entitlement on age is performed according to the formula provided in Item 5 and in Item 8.";

To add 2) with Item 13-1 of the following content:

"13-1. Review of the old-age pensions granted till January 1, 2019 is made depending on the insurance years of service gathered after realization/review of pension entitlement on age according to the schedule provided in the table.
