About transition to single tariffs for electrical energy which is released to consumers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Recommend to the National commission of regulation of power industry to apply since September 1, 2005 single tariffs for electrical energy which is released for each class of consumers, except rates for electrical energy which is released on household requirements of the population, settlements and outside lighting.

Take into consideration that the limit of increase in rates cannot exceed 5 percent of price level for July 1, 2005 with further monthly increase no more than for 5 percent of price level of the last month.

2. To the Ministry of Finance together with other interested executive bodies during preparation of changes for the Law of Ukraine "About the Government budget of Ukraine for 2005" to provide corresponding changes to expenses to budgetary institutions on payment of electrical energy.

3. Paragraph one of Item 8 of appendix to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 25, 1996 N1548 "About Establishment of Powers of Executive Bodies and Executive Bodies of City Councils concerning Price Regulation (Rates)" (the joint venture of Ukraine, 1996, N 21, Art. 596; Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2000, N 28, Art. 1167; 2003, N 21, the Art. 928) after words of "household requirements" to add with the words "single tariffs for electrical energy which is released for each class of consumers, except rates for electrical energy which is released on household requirements of the population, settlements and outside lighting".

4. This resolution becomes effective since September 1, 2005.
