Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 27, 1996 No. 353-I "About protection of atmospheric air" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1997, No. 2, Art. 52; 2003, No. 9-10, of Art. 149; Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2006, No. 10, Art. 536; 2013, No. 4, Art. 98; 2017, No. 9, Art. 510) following changes and amendments:
The text of Article 2 to state 1) in the following edition:
"The legislation on protection of atmospheric air consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about protection of atmospheric air then are applied rules of the international treaty";
Article 4 to state 2) in the following edition:
"Article 4. The rights and obligations of citizens in the field of protection of atmospheric air
Citizens have the right on:
use of atmospheric air, favorable for their life and health;
receipt of reliable and timely information from the relevant state bodies about condition of atmospheric air and measures taken on its protection;
compensation of damage in case of damnification to their health and property emissions of pollutants and biological organisms in atmospheric air and harmful effects of physical factors on it;
participation in carrying out studying of public opinion on questions of protection of atmospheric air and public environmental assessment.
Citizens shall:
observe requirements of the legislation on protection of atmospheric air;
not make the actions leading to pollution, depletion of atmospheric air and harmful effects of physical factors on it";
