About national system of certification of products, works and services of the Republic of Tajikistan
For the purpose of providing the national economy and the population of the Republic of Tajikistan with high-quality and safe products, protection of interests and the rights of consumers and in connection with participation in international economic, sci-tech cooperation and international trade the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:
1. Enter obligatory certification of products, works and services in National system of certification of the Republic of Tajikistan - ST of Tajikistan since January 1, 1995.
Obligatory certification of the products made in the Republic of Tajikistan and imported on its territory is entered according to the nomenclature according to appendix:
products according to the listed nomenclature without the certificate of conformity issued or recognized in National system of certification - ST of Tajikistan, are not subject to delivery and import to the Republic of Tajikistan for use or realization in its territory through trade organizations of all patterns of ownership;
the procedure for import to the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan products which is subject to obligatory certification is established by Customs committee under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan according to legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2. To assign implementation of function of National authority on certification of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Tajik state center of standardization and metrology under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan (Tadzhikgosstandart).
3. Approve the enclosed Regulations on National system of certification of the Republic of Tajikistan as ST of Tajikistan.
4. To the Tajik state center of standardization and metrology under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan till July 1, 1994 to develop and enact complex of republican fundamental standards on structure, functions of system, procedure for accreditation of certification bodies and test laboratories (centers).
