About measures for state regulation of production and realization of sugar and sugar beet

According to articles 2 and 6 of the Law of Ukraine "About state regulation of production and realization of sugar" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Establish for the period from September 1, 2006 to September 1, 2007 the extreme size of quota of supply of sugar:

on the domestic market (quota "And") of 1840 thousand tons;

for borders of Ukraine according to international treaties and replenishment in case of need quotas "And" (quota "In") of 185 thousand tons.

2. Approve minimum prices of sugar beet which will be delivered from September 1, 2006 to September 1, 2007 for production of sugar in borders of quotas "And" both "In", and on sugar of quota "And" for the specified period taking into account basic sugar content according to appendix.

3. To the ministry of agrarian policy during development of procedure for use in 2006 of funds of the government budget which are allocated for financial support of the companies of agro-industrial complex via the mechanism of reduction in cost of short and long-term loans, to provide distribution of its action on crediting of costs of the sugar plants connected with advancing of cultivation, procurement of sugar beet and preparation of the sugar plants for sugar production season.
