Based on paragraphs of the third and fifth of article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 9, 2006 "About safety of genetically engineered activities" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 96-Z

1. Approve:

Regulations on procedure for evaluating risks of possible harmful effects of genetically engineered organisms on health of the person and the environment it (is applied);

The regulations on procedure and conditions of issue of permissions to release of nonpathogenic genetically engineered organisms to the environment for carrying out testing (are applied).

2. Establish the list of the organizations, authorized to carry out risks assessment of possible harmful effects of genetically engineered organisms on health of the person and the environment, according to appendix.

3. No. 175 is excluded according to the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 25.03.2022

4. Declare invalid:

the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of September 8, 2006 No. 1160 "About approval of regulations on procedure for conducting state examination of safety of genetically engineered organisms and approximate conditions of the agreements signed for its carrying out, and issue of permissions to release of nonpathogenic genetically engineered organisms to the environment for carrying out testing";

subitem 1.4 of Item 1 of the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 7, 2008 No. 166 "About modification and amendments in some resolutions of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus concerning making of ministerial procedures concerning legal entities and individual entrepreneurs";

subitem 1.46 of Item 1 of the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of December 23, 2008 No. 2010 "About modification and amendments in some resolutions of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus concerning documentation of the population of the Republic of Belarus";
