About the public veterinary service

For the purpose of further enhancement of legal regulation of activities of the public veterinary service I decide:

1. Approve Regulations on the public veterinary service it (is applied).

2. Determine that:

2.1. the main objectives of Department of veterinary and food supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (further - Department) are:

implementation of the state supervision of observance of requirements of technical regulations of the Customs union, the Eurasian Economic Union, supervision in the field of veterinary science in the form of actions technical (technological, testing) nature;

participation in realization of single state policy in the field of veterinary activities, production and conversion of animal products, and also sales of products of plant origin in the markets;

2.2. Department for the purpose of accomplishment of the tasks assigned to it:

performs information collection from the legal entities who are subjects of the relations in the field of veterinary activities in forms of the departmental reporting in the field of veterinary science;

takes out instructions about elimination of violations, obligatory for execution by republican state bodies, other legal entities and physical persons, including individual entrepreneurs, and also has the right to demand discharge from work of the chief state veterinary inspectors of areas, cities and areas in case of violation or improper execution by them personally or the officials of the legislation subordinated to them in the field of veterinary activities;

issues import permits on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and permissions to the transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus of the goods included in the Single inventory, which are subject to veterinary control (supervision) approved by the international legal act constituting the right of the Eurasian Economic Union;
