About the Tajik delegation in the Joint Tajik-Uzbek demarcation commission and demarcation of frontier of the Republic of Tajikistan on the site of the Tajik-Uzbek border

For the purpose of realization of provisions of the Contract between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan about the Tajik-Uzbek frontier of October 5, 2002 and the Contract between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan on certain sites of the Tajik-Uzbek frontier of March 9, 2018, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Approve structure of the Tajik delegation in the Joint Tajik-Uzbek demarcation commission (further - the Demarcation commission) (appendix 1).

Charge to the Tajik delegation in the Demarcation commission (further - the Tajik delegation) and to its working demarcation group to carry out demarcation of the Tajik-Uzbek frontier.

2. Create for the entire period of demarcation of frontier the demarcation working group of the Tajik delegation (further - demarcation working group), having included in it:

- two employees from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- twenty employees from the State committee on land management and geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- ten officers and ensigns, thirty soldiers and sergeants from border troops of the State committee of homeland security of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- the chairman of committees on land management of the border cities and the regions of Tajikistan with Uzbekistan.

3. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to report to the Uzbek side structure of the Tajik delegation and to agree about the beginning and procedure for its work.

4. Permit the Tajik delegation in coordination with the relevant ministries and departments of the Republics, to involve Tajikistan in the Demarcation commission the necessary number of specialists and experts.
