The governments of state members of Eurasian economic community which further are referred to as with the Parties

being guided by provisions of the Agreement on the Customs union and the Common economic space of February 26, 1999 and the Constitutive treaty of Eurasian economic community of October 10, 2000,

considering mutual aspiration to integration of complementary fuel and energy complexes of state members of Eurasian economic community (further - EurAsEC) and to effective use of its benefits in development of national economies,

for the purpose of ensuring balance of the demand and supply of the domestic market of fuel and energy resources of state members of EurAsEC, expansion of mutually advantageous interstate deliveries of these resources,

realizing regulations of the Agreement of November 24, 1998 on interaction of power systems between the State Parties of the Agreement on deepening of integration in economic and humanitarian areas of March 29, 1996,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the stated below concepts and terms mean the following:

"joint fuel and energy balance" - system of the indicators characterizing production, consumption in the domestic market, export and import of fuel and energy resources of state members of EurAsEC;

"national fuel and energy balance" - system of the indicators characterizing production, consumption in the domestic market, export and import of fuel and energy resources of state member of EurAsEC;

"competent authorities of the Parties":

from the Republic of Belarus - the Ministry of Economics and the Department of Energy of the Republic of Belarus;

from the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
