Some questions of the Public nature protection service of Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Liquidate the State ecological inspection.

2. Liquidate as legal entities of the public law territorial and interregional territorial authorities of the State ecological inspectorate for the list according to appendix 1.

3. Form the Public nature protection service of Ukraine as the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and which realizes state policy on carrying out the state monitoring of the environment and the state supervision (control) in the field of protection of the surrounding environment, rational use, reproduction and protection of natural resources.

4. Form as legal entities of the public law interregional territorial authorities of the Public nature protection service according to the list according to appendix 2.

5. Determine that the State ecological inspection, its territorial authorities and interregional territorial authorities which are liquidated according to Items 1 and 2 of this resolution continue to carry out the powers before completion of implementation of actions for creation of the Public nature protection service and its interregional territorial authorities.

6. Form the commission on liquidation of the State ecological inspection.

Approve as the chairman of said commission of the head of department of expert work and organizational and analytical providing (Secretariat) the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Gavrilyuk Elena Sergeyevna.
