About features of introduction of separate personal data and their updating in the register of the population

Based on part two of Item 1 of article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 21, 2008 "About the register of the population" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 418-Z

1. Determine that introduction of separate personal data and their updating in the register of the population is performed:

1.1. The Ministry of Internal Affairs – personal data about registration at the place of residence and (or) the place of stay of citizens of the Republic of Belarus, the foreign citizens and persons without citizenship who are constantly living in the Republic of Belarus in change cases according to the legislation of the administrative-territorial device, address information based on the data arriving from the research and production state republican unitary enterprise "National Cadastral Agency";

1.2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs – personal data about the death of citizens of the Republic of Belarus which records of acts of death are made by consular establishments and also diplomatic representations of the Republic of Belarus in case of accomplishment of consular functions by them (further – foreign institutions), based on the written notice of law-enforcement body in which surname, own name, middle name (if that is available), birth date, identification number of the died person, date and number of the death statement, the name of the foreign institution which made it are entered. In case of impossibility of introduction and (or) updating in the register of the population of the relevant personal data the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in writing notifies law-enforcement body with indication of the reason;
