About legal regime of gifts
Based on article 16 of the Law No. 82/2017 on integrity (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 229-243, 360) and article 11 of the Law No. 25/2008 on the Code of behavior of the government employee (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, Art. No. 74-75, 243), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government
1. Establish as total allowable cost of the gifts received according to regulations of politeness or within the hospitality events, maximum amount in the amount of 1000 lei within one calendar year.
2. Approve Regulations on legal regime of gifts it (is applied).
3. Declare invalid the Order of the Government No. 134/2013 about establishment of allowable cost of symbolical gifts, the gifts received according to regulations of politeness or within the hospitality events and approval of the Regulations on accounting, assessment, storage, use and the redemption of symbolical gifts, the gifts received according to regulations of politeness or within the hospitality events (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 42-47, 185), with subsequent changes.
