About modification of the Procedure for maintaining the State ship register of Ukraine and the Ship book of Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

Bring in the Procedure for maintaining the State ship register of Ukraine and the Ship book of Ukraine approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of September 26, 1997 No. 1069 (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 1997, No. 40, Art. 24; 2008, No. 82, the Art. 2759), changes which are applied.

Changes which are made to the Procedure for maintaining the State ship register of Ukraine and the Ship book of Ukraine

1. In Item 2 of the Section I:

Paragraphs the fourth and fifth to state 1) in the following edition:

"the small motor ships equipped with the mechanical engine (engines) with general maximum capacity to 10 kW except the fishing boats which are not subject to supervision of classification society;

paddle driven ships up to 4 meters long which are not used for trade of water bioresources, transportation of goods and/or passengers for the purpose of implementation of business activity.";

2) to add Item with the paragraph of the following content:

"Registration of other small courts, sports courts, copies of historical courts, other courts which are not subject to obligatory registration is performed in the Ship book of Ukraine at the request of the owner of the vessel.".

2. To state the subitem "b" of Item 34 of the Section III in the following edition:
