The federal register of data on the population represents set of the data on the population of the Russian Federation created according to this Federal Law on the basis of the information about citizens of the Russian Federation, about the foreign citizens and persons without citizenship specified in Item 2 of article 6 of this Federal Law which contains in the state information systems of public authorities of the Russian Federation, governing bodies of state non-budgetary funds.
The organization of functioning of the federal register of data on the population is based on the principles:
1) legality, observance of rights and freedoms of man and citizen, application of organizational and technical measures for safety of the data on the population of personal data containing in the federal register;
2) continuity of maintaining the federal register of data on the population;
3) completeness, relevance and reliability of the data containing in the federal register of data on the population;
