About modification of the Procedure for laboratory providing quarantine phytosanitary measures

According to Item 24 of the Protocol on application of sanitary, veterinary and sanitary and quarantine phytosanitary measures (appendix No. 12 to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014) and Item 18 of appendix No. 2 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 No. 98, Board of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Bring in the Procedure for laboratory providing quarantine phytosanitary measures approved by the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of May 10, 2016 No. 41, the following changes:

a) to add Item 3 after the paragraph of the fourth with the paragraph of the following content:

"sample (test) - the quantity of quarantine products which is selected from batch of quarantine products for conducting quarantine phytosanitary examination, struck (damaged) by wreckers and diseases parts of quarantine material, copies and medicines of quarantine objects, micromedicines of causative agents of diseases.";

b) state Item 13 in the following edition:

"13. Samples (tests) of fresh fruit, vegetables, berries, mushrooms, green cultures, cut flowers, fresh branches and other parts of plants for the decorative purposes in which quarantine objects were not found are stored in quarantine phytosanitary (test) laboratory before completion of conducting all necessary examinations and issue of the conclusion of quarantine phytosanitary examination.";

c) add with Items 13-1 and 13-2 of the following content:

"13-1. Samples (tests) of seed and landing material of plants in which quarantine objects are not found after completion of quarantine phytosanitary examination are not subject to storage and can be returned to the owner in cases when they are of scientific or economic value.
