About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About banking activity"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About banking activity" of May 19, 2009 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2009, No. 5, Art. 331; 2010, No. 7, Art. 555; 2011 No. 12, Art. 846; 2013, No. 11, Art. 786; 2014, No. 11, Art. 663; 2018, No. 7-8, of Art. 532; 2019, No. 6, Art. 328) following changes and amendments:

1. In all text of the word "holding society of credit institution", "holding company of credit institution", "holding society of credit institution" and "holding society of credit institution" respectively shall be replaced with words "bank holding society", "bank holding society" and "bank holding society".

2. In Article 1:

- in the paragraph the second the word "credit" shall be replaced with words "others credit financial";

- add with the paragraph third the following content;

"-the credit financial institutions - the credit institutions and Islamic credit institutions performing the activities provided by the law based on the license of National Bank of Tajikistan;";

- in paragraph three of the word "and microfinancial" shall be replaced with words "including microfinancial";

- to state the paragraph of the seventh in the following edition:

"-subsidiary bank - bank which is controlled by other credit institution or bank holding society;";

- add with the paragraph the eighth the following content:

"-subsidiary - the legal entity, including subsidiary bank which is controlled by credit institution;";
