About modification and amendments in the Law "About Protection of the Population in Emergency Situations"

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 1 of the Law of December 2, 1998 No. ZR-265 "About protection of the population in emergency situations" (further - the Law):

The second paragraph to state 1) in the following edition:

"protection of the population - complex of the interconnected legal, organizational, technical actions directed to protection of life and human health in emergency situations, prevention and decrease in dangers, providing and recovery of normal life activity;";

The fifth paragraph after the words "performance of works" to add 2) with words ", and also implementation of the actions applied by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on establishment of quarantine";

The sixth paragraph after the word "part" to add 3) with words "(in case of establishment of quarantine - epidemic zone)";

Shall be replaced with words 4) in the ninth paragraph of the word "and microbiological substances" ", microbiological substances and infectious diseases".

Article 2. To add part 1 of article 4 of the Law with the Item of the following content:

"g) other actions established by the law.".

Article 3. In article 5 of the Law:

Part 1 to add 1) with the Item "with" of the following content:

"c) implementation of the actions established by the law in case of establishment of quarantine.";

To add 2) with part 3 following of content:

"The main actions for protection of the population caused by epidemic forming the basis for emergency situation both procedure and features of their implementation are established by Chapter 4.1 of this Law.".
