About development of automotive industry of Ukraine

This Law is directed to effective use of the potential, scientific and technical and export potential of domestic automotive industry which is determined as priority industry of economy of Ukraine; on creating favorable conditions for investment attraction, including foreign, and also on ensuring economic interests of the state in increasing production of the Ukrainian companies and reduction of the national legal system in compliance with requirements of GATT/VOT and the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Ukraine and the European communities and their state members.

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

1) the car - the land vehicle classified according to the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity by goods items 8702, of 8703, 8704;

2) the motorcycle - the land vehicle classified according to the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity by goods item 8711;

3) components - the products made according to the set of documents approved with the producer of the car or the motorcycle and intended for application as a part of this car or the motorcycle in case of its production;

4) spare parts - the parts made according to the set of documents approved with the producer of the car or the motorcycle, intended for application as a part of this car or the motorcycle on case of need of implementation of replacement of node, the aggregate or separate details of this car or the motorcycle in case of its repair or maintenance;

5) body (cabin) of the car - the frame design intended for installation on it compound components of the car, and also placement of workplace of the driver and places of passengers or load;

6) the chassis (frame) of the car of frame design - certain part of the car on which according to design components, nodes and aggregates are established;
