For the purpose of enhancement of procedure for the handling of scrap, waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, with further production with high value added, the Cabinet of Ministers decides ensuring rational use of the industries of economy and life activity of the population of the republic of secondary resources of scrap, waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals which are formed in the course of economic activity by their organized involvement in process of deep conversion:
1. Take into consideration that in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to:
the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 15, 2017 No. PP-3277 "About measures for enhancement of management system of JSC Uzmetkombinat" - JSC Uzmetkombinat is the single authorized body on procurement (purchase) of scrap and waste of ferrous metals;
the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of October 18, 2017 No. 849 "About measures for enhancement of system of collection, delivery and conversion of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals" - procurement of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals performs only JSC Uzvtortsvetmet;
The presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 4, 2000 No. UP-2559 "About Measures for Prevention of Plunders and Illegal Export of Scrap and Waste of Valuable Non-ferrous Metals", taking into account the made changes by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 12, 2018 No. UP-5300 "About Modification, and also Recognition Voided Some Acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan", JSC Uzvtortsvetmet and its structural divisions perform through specialized Items acceptance from physical persons of household non-ferrous scrap, including devices and the equipment of household purpose, and also scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals according to the list approved by the decision of the Government.
