About the organization of activities of the Ministry of tourism and sport

According to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 6, 2021 No. UP-6199 "About Measures for Further Enhancement of System of Public Administration in Spheres of Tourism, Sport and Cultural Heritage":

1. Approve:

organizational structure of the Ministry of tourism and sport according to appendix No. 1;

structure of central office of the Ministry of tourism and sport with extreme number of managerial personnel of 156 units according to appendix No. 2.

2. Transfer to the Ministry of tourism and sport and the Agency of cultural heritage of task and function of the Ministry of Culture, work-related with UNESCO in the field of material cultural heritage, and also development of the museums and libraries respectively.

3. Establish the extreme number of managerial personnel of territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of tourism and sport - 980 units.

4. Provide to the deputy prime minister - the minister of tourism and sport the right:

attract as consultants of highly qualified specialists and experts of state bodies and other organizations, the leading design institutes, scientific and educational institutions, the international organizations and the foreign companies;

make, if necessary, changes to structure of central office of the Ministry of tourism and sport, and also the subordinated organizations within the established general number of staff of workers;

approve structure and provisions, and also to determine the extreme number of managerial personnel of the Ministry of tourism and sport of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, head departments of areas and the city of Tashkent, departments of areas (cities) of the Ministry of tourism and sport.
