About the additional measures directed to further enhancement of system of social support of the population

For the purpose of ensuring the sequence of the measures directed to increase in level of living of the population and further enhancement of mechanisms of support of the families needing social protection:

1. In view of offers of the Ministry of Economic Development and reducing poverty and the Ministry of Finance on review of the minimum sizes of pensions and benefits, since July 1, 2021:

a) enter surcharge in the amount of 20 percent of basic size of calculation of pension (further - surcharge) for persons receiving pension below the established minimum size of old-age pension;

b) enter surcharge on each disabled member of the family of the receiver of pension on loss of the supporter.

2. Provide to the Ministry of Finance allocation of necessary means for financing of the expenses connected with the measures determined in this Decree by balance of the off-budget Pension fund, and also the republican budget.

3. Recommend to National news agency of Uzbekistan and National broadcasting company of Uzbekistan to provide extended coverage of the purposes and tasks of this Decree in mass media and the Internet together with the Ministry of Finance.

4. Make changes to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix.

5. To the Ministry of Finance together with the interested ministries and departments to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this Decree in a month.

6. To impose control of execution of this Decree on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. A. Kuchkarov.
